Charlie invited us to come and drink at a well, the well of God\u2019s refreshment for us.<\/span><span style=\";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:100%;\"  ><\/p>\n<p>We were introduced to the idea that the word \u201cWell\u201d can remind us of four of the key actions that make up the process of receiving God\u2019s refreshment for the spiritual thirst we feel.  We can think of the letters that make up the word WELL standing for Work, Energy, Lordship and Love.<\/span><span style=\";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:100%;\"  ><\/p>\n<p>For us to fully receive God\u2019s refreshment, we need to receive Christ\u2019s work on the cross, receive the energy of the Holy Spirit, receive God\u2019s Lordship over our lives and receive God\u2019s unending, unfailing love.<\/span><span style=\";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:100%;\"  ><\/p>\n<p>Over the next few weeks, leading up to Easter we will  be thinking about each of these in turn, and this week we are focussing on the first of these: receiving Christ\u2019s work on the cross.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/docs.google.com\/Doc?id=dc9cg5ww_50n3jvwsdb\">Continued here&#8230;<\/a><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; page-break-inside: auto; font-family: trebuchet ms;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week we started off on our journey through Lent, a journey that will explore some of the ideas of spiritual refreshment that are presented in the \u201cCome Thirsty\u201d course.
